We now have a new chef. If you have noticed a couple of things different with the plating of the food, then you have a great eye for detail. Our new Head Chef Jason has started. Everyone at Gramercy would like to give him an enormous welcome, and we are positive our customers feel the same.
It can be a long hard task finding a new chef. There are interviews to run, tasting sessions, and the sketching out of menus to consider. But, with Jason, we felt we had the perfect chef to take our restaurant to the next level right from the very first meeting.
At Gramercy Bar & Kitchen, we have a large menu to cater for all tastes. It was important for our new head chef to have the skills to create fantastic main courses, of course. But also to have their personal takes on the staple, bar food classics that our customers enjoy. We feel that Jason is going to bring some exciting new ideas that will keep all our customers happy – and to entice new ones!
Flexibility is also a vital part of being a head chef at Gramercy. We have such a wide range on our menus, and we need our chefs to be perfect every time. The experience in a fast-paced environment is vital for a head chef, of course, and our new guy has that in spades. We believe Jason is going to thrill our loyal customers across the board. And, we’re looking forward to revealing some amazing surprises in our next menu change.
Management experience is another vital part of being a head chef, and we’re pleased to report that Jason has plenty. Rest assured, when Gramercy gets busy, Jason and his troops will be hard at work in the kitchen. We will all be making sure everyone gets the same high standard of service every time!
Jason is a cool-headed customer, too. The role of the head chef is often portrayed as being hot-tempered in the media. But, it was important to us as a business that we selected someone with the right temperament to match our professionalism. We like the fact Jason cares for people – for both those working in the kitchen or eating in the dining room. Jason’s work record speaks for itself in this regard, and he’s a highly respected chef in his own right, We are very lucky to have him on board.
We are currently going to run the current menu for a couple more weeks until Jason has found his feet and created the new winter menu. I have sampled a couple of potential new dishes and boy are they yum.
We are very excited for our customers to come along and check out our new chef’s work and we are sure that many more will come once the word starts spreading. Keep an eye out for our exciting winter menu coming soon!
